Welcome to the WeedBiocontrol Tutorial. This tutorial has been written to help you navigate through the CD in a quick and easy manner and to explain the main features of WeedBiocontrol. The front screen buttons provide the initial entry to the modules in the CD; for instance, the Introduction and Tutorial buttons led you here. The other buttons take you to:



 Frequently Asked Questions - providing answers to the most commonly asked questions about weeds and weed biocontrol.  



Weed Biocontrol: The Steps - this section provides detailed information about the 12 steps involved in weed biocontrol projects, from their initiation to implementation and evaluation.



 Resource Centre - providing support material on the core disciplines and techniques involved in weed biocontrol, ranging from taxonomic issues and ecological checklists to a PowerPoint seminar.

 



 Information sources - including References, a Bibliography, a Glossary and Links to useful web sites.

WeedBiocontrol has been produced in HTML format (hypertext markup language), which means that, where a word is colored and underlined, a link to another section of the CD can be followed. When you run the cursor over a hyperlink, the arrow is replaced by a hand. Click once to follow a hyperlink. A link may occur on the same page or may lead you to another section within the CD. Some links will take you to Web sites if you have a browser and Internet connections. The hyperlinks and buttons used in WeedBiocontrol are explained in the buttons pages of this tutorial.
